I had a dream,
About you...
If only you could have seen it too,
Then I wouldn't feel so crazy,
Thinking that maybe,
Me and you could be an item...
I had daydreams,
About you...
I guess I've been bit by the love bug,
Because my mind has been replaying that moment,
Ever since we first met,
Constantly rewinding like an old cassette...
But then,
Came the dream,
Vivid and serene,
Almost like something out of a movie...
This feels too real to be fictional,
I mean, picture this, right?
A man and a woman,
Chillin' by a lake,
Sitting at the edge of the docks...
Feet danglin'
Basking in the moonlight...
The sweet lady is sittin' pretty,
Kickin' her feet with radiant whimsy.
The cool cat leaning on the post,
Moon gazing,
Trying to not do the most...
Then, he looks to her,
And she returns his glance,
They both smile at one another...
And then, I wake up,
The feeling turns bittersweet,
Because I don't know if it's mutual...
I don't know if you daydream about me,
Or smile at the sweet memories of me...
I swear it hurts to feel this deeply,
To be at a crossroads with whether or not...
If this is only a dream,
Or a peak into our reality...
